If I remember correctly, America already tried switching to the metric system. Too many dumb and ignorant were too lazy to bother with it though.

IRT YK: i could always move to avila (in spain...im in love with that place)

    ^__^ That's great

WRT metric system: America's failure to switch to it cost a lot, NASA fubared a Mars probe expensive as hell because of mixing metric and the other system in the software -_- . I think the probe was supposed to maintain speed for x miles, but got the number in kilometers, or something like that.

I didn't realize that, as far as NASA goes. However I do agree we should go metric. I mean some of the stuff already is, just we need to make it standard.

Great article, I agree with everything except for baseball which I enjoy.

America truly is the disease of Earth.

There was also that 2.5 BILLION dollr aircraft that America funded. It could get from London to Australia in 2 and a half hours instead of 23!

And what did they do? Flew it a little over the Atlantic, crashed it into the ocean, and left it.
2 Billion dollars wasted when they could have done so much else with it.
